The SAFETEK FIRE RATED CABLE is a high-performance fire-survival cable engineered to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical fire protection and alarm systems under extreme fire conditions. This cable meets stringent international safety standards and delivers reliable performance for life-safety applications in public, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Product Overview
SAFETEK FIRE RATED CABLE is a screened-core, fire-rated cable specifically developed for Fire Protection Systems, capable of maintaining circuit integrity for up to 120 minutes in fire conditions, in accordance with EN 50200. Its advanced construction prevents flame propagation while ensuring continuous power and signal transmission during emergencies.
Construction & Materials
The cable features solid bare pure copper conductors, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical strength. Each core is insulated with ceramic silicone rubber, with clear colour identification—Blue (Core 1) and Brown (Core 2)—for ease of installation. A fire-resistant tape enhances fire survival performance, while an optional bare copper drain wire and aluminium foil screening provide superior electromagnetic protection. The outer sheath is made of LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material in red or white, reducing toxic smoke emissions during fire incidents.
